Proto Tyre owner Gary Plazak founded the company in 1995.
Gary has twenty-five years of experience and expertise in the hand carving of tire
sidewall and tread. The company employs three full-time technicians, with a
collective combined experience of over sixty years in the industry. Our
clientele includes most of the major tire and rubber manufacturers worldwide.
Specialized equipment, combined with a unique layout process affords Proto Tyre
the ability to hand carve virtually any tread design imaginable! We at Proto Tyre take great pride in our unmatched skill and expertise
in the carving of test tires and the modification of existing production tires.
